It's Budweiser with agave and fake lime. I fell for the cool packaging.

I do slightly taste the tequila barrel residue but it seems to overpowered by some sort of agave sweetener. Kind of tastes like mexican beer that someone dropped a SweeTart in. I think I'd like it a little better without the sugary kick.

Not that Bud with lime is necessarily a bad thing, but I can see where this could be written off as that. If Budweiser made a 6.0% beer.

Sudsy, stout-like head. Sweet, chocolatey, stout-like flavor. Plus hops! I like it but beers like this make categorization hard/pointless. Hoppy Milk Stout, this is. Still solid.

This beer is freaking me out...Chocolate ice cream ipa float? Interesting flavor profile but the milk chocolate sweetness comes through a little too much for me. I do like the bitter baker's chocolate and hops that come through along with the little bit of coffee I taste. The coffee is more noticeable in the aroma than the taste. Overall, worth a try just for the weirdness of it.

The color makes it seems like it will taste differently than it does, but it's a pleasant surprise. The combination of flavors works, and the multiple disparate ingredients may explain the nine percent. Being a fan of dark chocolate also helps.

Most fruit IPAs use the fruit as a counterpoint to the bitterness, this one adds to it. My tongue is feeling a tad scratchy already, but this is pretty tasty. Good base brew, I'd be interested to taste it with other ingredients in place of the grapefruit peel.

I like this one. Not crazy complex but pretty tasty. LOTS of grapefruit! Mineral carbonation with pink grapefruit and a little herbal lemon at the front fading to white grapefruit with bitter peel coming through in the aftertaste.

Mmmmm, grapefruit... Couldn't remember if we'd done a Magic Hat before, but this one is a nice representation, based on other selections I've tried. It's also apropos that we're continuing the fruit theme, although I'm not sure where to go after this. I'm sure we'll find something.

Woah, heavy duty. Many of the fruit IPAs we've been trying have been light and easy, but this one has more of a double IPA body and weight. It smells like an orangey strong ale fest.

Wow! Really different. Even the color is orange. I really taste the orange peels in this. Sour orange at first, then a hit of sweet citrus fading to bitter, burnt orange.

It's like orange soda, but the beer version! The color is actually a little deceptive, as it probably influences my tasting experience. We've sampled this brewery before, and the quality level holds up.

Heavy on the citrus and tropical fruit hop flavors. Just on the edge of too much orangey sweetness, but it's still bright enough to really pop. All sorts of yum.

Pretty straight forward hoppyness. Mostly citrus (lemon/lime/grapefruit) with a touch of pineapple acidity aftertaste. Not amazingly complex but delicious just the same.

The name makes me think of something different, but I don't know if that's coloring my perception. I'm usually a fan of the brewery too, so perhaps I'm just having an off tasting night.
