This feels rather refreshing for an imperial. It smells bright and citrusy but the flavor is bit darker and piney. Seems like it's missing a little something on the tongue... it's not one-note but not terribly complex either. If the term "session" applied to flavor intensity rather than alcohol content, this would be a session imperial.

I feel like this one could get me into trouble... Pretty easy drinking for an imperial IPA. Pretty nice though. Nice and hoppy with a little bit of an alcohol kick. It is making my tongue a little numb and slurry though...

IIPA! Couldn't ask for a better return to form for the beer blog, although the long gap between the last one and now probably has something to do with it. New Belgium doesn't disappoint.
